9.26.2002

I nearly missed devan's appointment this morning. I was laying around watching Cailou with devan, and I looked at the clock and realized, "crap, I'm supposed to be somewhere right now!" Well it was okay. I got there anyways.

So my week has been pretty uneventful. Wait, what am I talking about. Tuesday was pretty eventful. In my drawing class we had to draw a naked black body builder. It was kind of annoying though, because during the 1 minute poses, he would keep doing all these muscle flexing poses and he'd shake the whole time. I wanted to say to him, 'hey buddy, you're not going to win any contests here, so freakin' relax.' Eventually he did relax and I got one good drawing out of it. I'd show you but I don't have my scanner set up. Sorry.

I just bought some lunch. I am really full and i've only had like 2 bites of my sandwich. I have class tonight and I really don't want to go.

9.18.2002

I am probably going to quit my website. I hate the layout and I don't have the time to fix it and I don't really care about it except for image hosting, and I can do that without having a webpage. *in my head I just did a Mango gesture at you*

Damn. I thought I was like Kaprekar for a second. I thought I discovered a 3 digit number like 6,174. I thought I was a mathmatician! Only I'm a stupid retard and it was just a totally obvious thing. I mean I knew that when I started doing the math, but I was hoping that it was like one of those 'duh' things that people just overlook because it is so obvious.

me and my hunny are watching James Lipton. He's interviewing Gwyneth Paltrow. I missed my dr. appointment today and I was so mad and stressed out and overwhelmed by my life in general, that on my way down the hallway in the hospital, i found my eyes welling up with tears, so I hurried out the door and cried my dumb eyes out when I got in my car. I'm sure people who saw me looking so distressed wondered what bad news the midwives had given me, but really it wasn't about that. It was about a lot of things that I really can't get into on this thing.

I was looking at that savekaryn.com website and it makes me so mad. I wish we would have thought of something like that. I am positive that our cause is so much more worthy than hers. I'm sure there are many worthy causes, but I just mean, people could be giving us a dollar apeice and we'd use the money to put a downpayment on a house and stuff, where she's paying off credit cards that she charged up buying prada shoes and other insanely expensive things.

in the royal tennenbaums, the part where 'needle in the hay' by elliot smith is playing, breaks me all up inside. I can't explain it.

I'm doing a paper on amelie, for lack of a better subject when it came down to deciding (read: my professor forced me!) and I think it's just too easy. I didn't decide to go to school to do things that I could have done without using my brain just a little bit.

Could I eat any more chocolate this week? Damn.

I hate 2 of my classes. 1 I hate because it is too easy and I feel stupid being in the class. The other, I hate because it is pretty boring. It has the potential to be fun, but it's a required course so what can I expect. blah!

If you want to contribute to my unofficial house-downpayment-fund, paypal me some mad crazy cash: pwuebker@earthlink.net

so.tired.so...........tiredddddd

It's Tuesday, about 4pm. I honestly do not feel like I have the energy to go to class later. I have to order all this art supplies. I used to have it all but I either threw it out or left it at my mom's house. Oh well. Next Tuesday I'll be drawing naked people in class. It doesn't get much better than this, folks.

9.08.2002

I'm just sitting here checking my email over and over and over again. If you want to be cool, you could email me and surprise me. That would be neat.

I was just in the car explaining to Jon that being a nurse-midwife (what I'm going to school for) is not just birthin' babies, I also am going to have to stick my fingers in women's nooners.

words are flowing out like endless rain into a papercup - they slither while they pass they slip away across the universe ahhahaha.. i just had a brainstorm. I'm not going into details.

I just bought some teeshirts. Last night I had a whole new world introduced to me when I visited the Vans website (thanks to dusty) and now I can't even stand how wonderful all of those shoes are. I have to go, law and order is on. bye.

9.07.2002

I added another class on friday. I'm going to transfer schools next year...and then to the college of medicine and dentistry. I'm listening to the wreck of the edmund fitzgerald. We went shopping for devan's fall/winter/spring clothes. I got so much cute stuff I could barely handle it. When we got home I put her in her little jeans. Generally speaking, I'm against pre-distressed jeans, but Devan looks adorable in hers. We got her two pairs of sneakers. She likes them. When I took them off before dinner, she kept laying down and trying to put them on. She looks at least an inch taller in shoes.

Devan went for a walk with her grampa up the road to see the horses. When they got back devan was asleep in her stroller. We watched the end of The Stand. I'm totally bored, downloading music and looking at stuff online.

9.05.2002

I sure do love me some Hugh Jackman's face. hahha.

Well, I started school yesterday. It wasn't too terribly eventful. I have a class tonight.

your attention, please!

(Nov 19) I've been asked to make a Christmas wish list, so here it is. Click on Santa to view it!

(Dec 11) I am unable to sleep, so I took time to make the blog archives work. of course, images that were on old yahoo server do not work anymore (read: anything before April 2005) so you'll have to use your imagination. Check the sidebar for a link if you're interested.

Christmas Wishlist!

(Nov 22) There. I finally did it. Now go buy me stuff:)
.......................

(Nov 7)Take note of the changes along the right sidebar. I've been reading blogs, and that, of course, means joining knitalongs! However my next task (which will be my next announcement) is to create a holiday wishlist, as there have been several people asking for one.

(Aug 6) Hi guys, How cute is this: I have a new little niece!! Bryan and Mandie's little girl was born last Sunday (I think)

and in the spirit of utter ridiculousness, I give you, Madelyn dancing.
.......................

(June 1) Here is a little picture. Obviously, these are BF5 lyrics.

.......................

(May 23) Sup dudes? I was kinda bored last night, so I made a picture.

again. only tell me if you like it. I have a fragile ego.
.......................

(May 14) Going through a wave of depression. Don't feel like doing anything except artwork. Here are a couple pictures I made. You may have seen them, since they're meant for my websites. If you've seen them as background images, excuse the tiling, I'm fixing it when I feel like it.

if you like them, let me know. if you don't, keep it to yourself.

(April 28) Ok... I've been on hiatus. Bear with me and my broken links and pictures while I move all my junk around.
Life is good and I'm glad my site is working again.
.......................

(Jan 11) Due to real life pals/family complaining about how little real life content there is in this journal, I'm going to make a real effort to include that stuff, and not just knitting stuff. I hope this pleases you guys.
.......................

(Jan 10) Today is the anniversary of my Grampa's death. We still miss you so much.
.......................

(Jan 4) Congratulations Michael & Tiffany!!
Welcome to the family, Tif!

(Dec 30) Just two quick notes today:
1. We've got another completed Casey's Coat. click to see Vito!
2. I'll be out of town for about 3 weeks. My brother, Mike, is getting married! After that I'm going to be house sitting for my mom while she is out of town. This will not have an affect on you or my blogging, I just felt like sharing.
.......................

(Dec 2) My brother has been making me some pretty cool knitting charts. I think they're mighty awesome and I'm trying to figure out a project I can use them for. They're pdf files, except the first one (which is actually not his design, it's the work of someone on myspace.com) so go ahead and have at them. If he makes many more charts, I'll disable the links and offer the chart patterns for a small fee via paypal, because, after all, it is his art work and he deserves compensation!

(Nov 28)My little sister is a knittin' fool. We shopped all over for some good needles for her. She's been using these kids plastic-y needles that I find to be really uncomfortable and annoying. We tried some aluminum needles but they were too slick and long. We finally settled on some Clover Bamboo needles and from what I have heard, she likes them the best. She's working on a lavender scarf. I'll have my mom take a pic so I can post it here.

(Nov 28) I'm back! Christmas Knitting and yarn stash enhancement is in full effect in this house. There's a new(?) Knitting/Fabric store in the town my mom lives in.  It's called Sew Krazy.

image is property of sew-krazy.com

They are currently squeezed in a tiny location just chock full of amazing stuff! They have a whole shelf of Kaffe Fasset fabrics, which you know I loved.  They had lots of yarn by Rowan and Brown Sheep. They didn't have any Debbie Bliss. The shop is working on expanding in a new location, equipped with a beautiful fireplace (My mom and I peeked through a hole in the door) and it's HUGE. This place was great and there's a cafe called Muddy Waters next door. So this place will be perfect to sit down, relax, drink coffee, and knit by the fireplace when I go out to visit for 3 weeks in January. The building is also really beautiful and contains many other interesting shops. Check it out if you're ever nearby.
.....................

(Nov 20)Someone's used my pattern! Yesss! As you may know, Casey's Coat was published in Debbie Stoller's follow-up to Stitch n' Bitch, Stitch n' Bitch Nation. Today I was looking at the livejournal.com knitting
community and saw that someone actually used my pattern! Sweet, right?

(Nov 18)Last year for Christmas, Mr. Handsome gave me an EZ Stir. If you haven't got a clue what an easy-stir is, (consider yourself lucky) it's a device that attaches to your pots and pans and stirs your sauces for you! Ingenious! I have still not taken the EZ Stir out of its package. This year, I thought I'd make it easy on my husband and anyone else who wishes to shower me with gifts.
ho, ho, ho!
