yesterday: we went to the fair and thought we were going to die in a tornado. frightening.
today: nothing.
I have read some really messed up stuff on the internet today. First, I saw a couple of familiar names listed as registered sex offenders in Medina County, Oh. Second, I read a news story about a 1 week old african baby girl who got raped. Third, A lafayette guy left his 9 month old in his car for 3 hours and the baby died. barf.
Things about the last 2 days, starting w/thursday.
1.I ended up packing my junk and going to ohio. I left the house at 2:30.
2.Devan, who is normally really, abnormally, good on long trips was an absolute grouch. By the time I arrived in Wooster, it felt like someone had driven a freight train thru my forehead. (I just quoted Bruce Springsteen, I think, Which brings me to number 3.
3. That song is really creepy.
4. Dear Sheryl Crow, I don't hate you because you've been romantically linked with Owen Wilson, but because you write really cheesy stupid songs. I really hate it when rich people talk about how much their 'job stinks' and how they don't have 'enough money'. I finally forced myself to not change the station, and listen to your horrible song called 'soak up the sun' or something of that nature... One more thing Sheryl, If you soak up anymore sun you'll be a prune. (Is it just me or is she really wrinkly and dark?)
5.Tom Cochrane wrote a really unbelievably bad song called 'Life is a Highway'. I hadn't heard this song in about 5 years, and, well, it's even worse than I thought it was 5 years ago.
6.'Meander' is such a good name for a resevoir.
7.Note to self : don't give devan banana cookies in the car anymore. I removed her seat and found a stash of them underneath. Either she's saving them for later, or she doesn't like the.
8.Wooster is really nice. I would love to live in this town. Oh if only nyc were an hour away from here....
9.I didn't brush my hair for like 5 days. People with long thick hair shouldn't ever do this. I just conditioned the crap out of it and it's still all clumpy in the back.
10.I broke my tooth today. It hurt. I had to go to Sear's Dental and get it all fixed. They had to remove some of my gums, since the problem was below the gumline. It hurts. I just took advil.
11. Evan told me he was going to go upstairs and get Sean's gun and shoot me. I think I'm okay though, because I don't think Sean has a gun. Then evan drew a picture on his MagnaDoodle of him shooting me. At this point I felt a little uneasy and told him to erase it. Then he told me the gun shaped object was actually roses. I like Evan. He's pretty cool for a 5 year old. The end.
okay so the screwy underline things were a lot easier to contend with this morning than they were last night in the dark when my eyes were being held open with these weird clamp-like devices. It looked something like this.
Though I am supposed to be on my way to ohio, I'm sitting here on my bed. The power keeps going out so I can't ever get all stuff done that I need to get done before I leave. I can't wait til next weekend to go out because I will have to leave earlier than I want because on the 10th we're going to the shore. I will need to be back with plenty of time to get ready. Maybe I'll still go today. it's only 11:45, if I stay focused I can get there at around 10 pm or so?? or maybe I should just leave tomorrow. Except that I hate leaving ON the weekend. The weekend is my favorite time here. What to do what to do?!
i just updated my updates. hahaha. but for some reason it's not letting me upload the entry, so screw it. my update will go in my journal. EEK! so yea, what I was going to say was that icons.html=up up and away. it's far from finished but there's some stuff there. don't mind those screwy underline things. they're out to get me so i'm just going to ignore them like john nash ignored his imaginary pals. i'm tired. power was out 2 days in a row. i almost typed "daze" . goodnighty.

Is my obsession with zoolander okay? If zoolander were a person I'd pick him/her up and twirl em around and squeeze em to peices. If zoolander were food, I'd eat everything around it and save it for last and I'd savor every wonderfully delicious bite. .................. The movie itself is absolutely retarded, but I just can't handle owen wilson. Do you notice that he doesn't have a straight face through the entire thing? I desperately need soundclips. I saw A Beautiful Mind finally. It wasn't the best movie ever. I thought it was cute that he sniffed that stupid hankerchief .
my plant from my grampa's funeral is dying. I still have two others that are hanging on (despite marmalade chewing off the ends of the leaves).
I wonder if I'll get dressed and go rent amelie today. I could take monster's butt back. good idea. bye!
what the hell happened to me. In 1st grade I was the only student in my class allowed to write stories that contained conversations because I was the only student who knew the correct punctuation and all that nonsense.
am I having the worst day ever??? yea, I think I am. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, Devan spilled an entire can of coke on my bed. It's not like I can be mad though. She spilled it all over herself too, and looked at me like it was my fault, and it was. I left the coke there last night when I was watching monster's ball (halle berry- you really didn't deserve an oscar for that performance... also I thought i imagined it, but I saw the stretch marks on your boobies. I can't believe they didn't airbrush that out... so on second thought, maybe you DO deserve an oscar.)
now I'm sitting indian style on my bed, with my ripped up sage sheet and no blankets and I'm shivering. Jon ordered dsl, but for some reason it's screwing up my computer and not working at all so here we are paying for dsl and still using dialup. HELLO!
I haven't drawn or written anything in awhile. I even quit my obsessive icon making. Now that I've typed that out, I feel like making them again.

I want that Justin guy (with the sideshow bob hair) to win american idol. He's a cutie pie. next i want that nicky girl to win. after that I don't care, except please please NOT THE KID WITH THE DEAF PARENTS. He sucks sucks sucks, and his face and eyebrows get all contorted when he sings and it just makes me want to vomit and vomit and vomit and vomit......
i ate a blueberry muffin. now I have heartburn. I wanted to go out to lunch with jon but no. he DOESN'T WANT TO. HMM COULD HE SUCK?? POSSIBLY!!

(Dec 2) My brother has
been making me some pretty cool knitting charts. I think
they're mighty awesome and I'm trying to figure out a
project I can use them for. They're pdf files, except
the first one (which is actually not his design, it's
the work of someone on myspace.com) so go ahead and have
at them. If he makes many more charts, I'll disable the
links and offer the chart patterns for a small fee via
paypal, because, after all, it is his art work and he
deserves compensation!

(Nov 28)My little sister is a knittin' fool. We shopped
all over for some good needles for her. She's been using
these kids plastic-y needles that I find to be really
uncomfortable and annoying. We tried some aluminum
needles but they were too slick and long. We finally
settled on some Clover Bamboo needles and from what I
have heard, she likes them the best. She's working on a
lavender scarf. I'll have my mom take a pic so I can
post it here.

(Nov 28) I'm back! Christmas Knitting and yarn stash
enhancement is in full effect in this house. There's a
new(?) Knitting/Fabric store in the town my mom lives
in. It's called Sew Krazy. image is property of sew-krazy.com
They are currently squeezed in a tiny location just
chock full of amazing stuff! They have a whole shelf of
Kaffe Fasset fabrics, which you know I loved. They
had lots of yarn by Rowan and Brown Sheep. They didn't
have any Debbie Bliss. The shop is working on expanding
in a new location, equipped with a beautiful fireplace
(My mom and I peeked through a hole in the door) and
it's HUGE. This place was great and there's a cafe
called Muddy Waters next door. So this place will be
perfect to sit down, relax, drink coffee, and knit by
the fireplace when I go out to visit for 3 weeks in
January. The building is also really beautiful and
contains many other interesting shops. Check it out if
you're ever nearby.

(Nov 18)Last year for Christmas, Mr. Handsome gave me an
EZ Stir. If you haven't got a clue what an easy-stir
is, (consider yourself lucky) it's a device that
attaches to your pots and pans and stirs your sauces for
you! Ingenious! I have still not taken the EZ Stir out
of its package. This year, I thought I'd make it easy on
my husband and anyone else who wishes to shower me with
gifts.
